December 11th
The City Hall Square + Grand Teatret, Mikkel Bryggers Gade 8

Distortion and CPH:DOX invites you to party with us in The City Hall Square. The music will be played from the hijacked radio station Universitetsradioen at 95.5Mhz, so bring your old boom box or home made Christiania bike blaster, or just come as you are. The party happens, where the sound is, and here you will also find The Yes Men, an army of young djs and a cheap bar. Vj Rune Brink will bring spectacular visuals to the giant globe in the square.

Later in the evening the legendary trouble makers The Yes Men will take a brake from the COP15 and host a festive screening of their film 'The Yes Men Fix The World'. It wont be boring!

MODERN RAINMAKERS AND WEATHER CONTROL
December 13th 6 pm
Trykkehallen Pressen, The City Hall Square 37

Through interviews with modern rainmakers, air condition installers, scientists and environmental activists Robert Greenes 'Owning The Weather' travels through the social, political and ethical currents that are in play in our wish to control the weather. From early times rainmaking has been a profitable business. With the present climate changes the question of a new kind of weather control has emerged, and around the world scientists are researching how we can control the weather with new technology and avoid a climate catastrophe.
After the screening a panel of experts will debate the ethical issues that arise when it comes to modern weather control.

CAN DOCUMENTARY FILMS CREATE CHANGE?
December 14th 8 pm
Trykkehallen Pressen, The City Hall Square 37

With 'Climate of Change' the production company behind Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth' has allied itself with director Brian Hill, who is behind acclaimed films like 'Songbirds' and 'The Not Dead'. The result is a poetic film about ordinary peoples power to make a difference for the climate.

After the film Brian Hill and Executive Vice President of Documentary Production at Participant Media Diane Weyermann will be present for a debate about documentary films ability to create change. Anthropologist and artistic director of New Danish Screen Jakob Høgel will moderate.
